About Kendra

My style of therapy is a highly active, engaged partnership, backed by extensive training in the methods I’ve found most effective. I’m direct, results-oriented, and intentionally tailor our work to your specific needs.

What drives me, above all, is a desire to help people live better lives—in the most effective way possible. I’ve seen that the fastest path there is through relationships: ease your anxiety and your relationships improve, strengthen your relationships and your anxiety eases. That’s what pushed me to pursue the most rigorous training available—because my goal isn’t to keep you in therapy indefinitely, it’s to help you build the insight and skills to thrive on your own.

I bring both clinical expertise and practical life experience into the room. Having been married for nearly 30 years and navigating the different seasons of raising four children, I understand the resilience required to manage daily demands and challenging life transitions.

My background in both psychology and business offers a helpful perspective on the intersection of high-pressure environments, high-functioning anxiety, and everyday stressors. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Organizational Behavior from Brigham Young University, and a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from California Lutheran University.

I see clients in person whenever it’s possible—there’s a depth to sitting in the same room together that a screen can’t fully replace, and I’ve built my practice around making that the standard, not the exception. Telehealth is available for clients whose location makes in-person sessions impractical.
